Fast & Furious Online Blitz Begins
Fast & Furious, the fourth installment in the car chase franchise, doesn't hit the cineplex until April 3, but the online promotional blitz is well under way. The film's official MySpace page is viewable at http://www.myspace.com/fastandfurious, and visitors can use the tool to give their personal page a Fast & Furious facelift or to watch the high-definition trailer. There are also free buddy icons, wallpapers, and a "Pink Slip" mobile game for iPhones. There is also a Fast & Furious Model Competition, where gals can upload their sexiest photo to www.fastandfuriousmovie.net/ultimatemodelcontest and send the link to friends to rate the photo. The winning model has a chance to win either a professional photo shoot or $5,000. Fans can visit the site to rate models as well. There will be a Desert Run Racing game launched shortly in conjunction with the film.
Fast & Furious finds original cast members Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster reprising their roles, racing muscle cars across Los Angeles and into the Mexican desert.
