Father of Hills Star Heidi Montag Says He Fears for Her Life

Heidi Montag has been stretching her 15 minutes of fame to the breaking point for the past few years and she and husband Spencer Pratt are generally regarded as the most despised reality show stars in Hollywood. Montag's multiple plastic surgeries have landed her on magazine covers and keep the press chattering about her life, as I am doing right now. Her father, Bill Montag, spoke to Star about his daughter, saying, "I'm worried for [Heidi]… I'm afraid for her life." Well, Bill, anyone who has double digit plastic surgeries in a single day is taking a big, fat risk with their life so your fears are not baseless. But Mr. Montag's fears run beyond his daughter's physical insecurities, saying, "If I don't hear from them soon, good or bad, I will take my family and get [Spencer's] family and go there and talk to them. They can call the police on me too. I want to make sure both of them are OK."
Montag's fears are a result of recent press on the couple, where Pratt is accused of forcing his wife to get plastic surgery and for his obsession with guns. In this week's episode of The Hills, Pratt bragged that he stopped his wife from watching TV or surfing the web. He said, "I don't let her go on TV, no computers. The only thing Heidi does is read and write poetry and pray and pet puppies." That is the most terrifying thing I've ever heard.
In a recent ep, Montag lunched with fellow Hills star Kristin Cavallari and said, "Who am I without Spencer?" It's morphing from pathetic to scary.
Do you think Spencer really has Heidi brainwashed or are these two brilliant and shameless self-promoters doing anything to climb their way to the top and achieve fame?
