    • Bullet for My Valentine - There's something that can be said for a band that has an audience howling way before they step out on stage. The house lights had not even dimmed for Bullet For My Valentine’s entrance, and the crowd was already chanting song lyrics and attempting to crowd surf – absolutely insane. Once Bullet made their much anticipated entrance the metal heads, moshers, and surfers only grew in their enthusiasm. Through "Your Betrayal" and "Scream Aim Fire," there were more crowd surfers then security knew what to do with. All the while BFMV shredded the faces of non-surfers. Though there was a good mix of songs performed from all three albums their set seemed a tad bit short, only playing about 12 songs. The crowd clearly loved every minute of every song but there was definitely room – and want – for more.-Lilly Ryden

Why we're so excited about the Welsh metal warriors' new album and you should be too!

It's been two years since Bullet For My Valentine released corrosively crushing and catchy fourth full-length album, Temper Temper [RCA Records]. Debuting Top 15 on the Billboard Top 200, the record saw the Welsh heavy metal masters refine their sound into a succinctly sharp attack embodied within some hammering hooks and robust grooves. They just released a teaser video with a simple "V…" exponentially increasing excitement for this year's impending new album.

However, Matt Tuck [lead vocals, rhythm guitar], Michael "Padge" Paget [lead guitar], and Michael "Moose" Thomas [drums] are ready to deliver their most bombastic, brash, and big opus to date. Fans of the gold-selling The Poison 2008's flawless Scream Aim Fire know just what this band's capable of. Hearing that thrash intensity and aggression fused to the arena-shattering refrains of Fever and Temper Temper makes them unlike any other group in the genre.

The brilliant "Raising Hell" certainly shined light on that path for the group. Following the past few year's though and the immense work, they've put in worldwide it feels like their biggest moment is upon us, especially in the U.S.
