Korn, Kottonmouth Kings, Shiny Toy Guns and Hyro Da Hero talk to ARTISTdirect.com editor Rick Florino about the Sunset Strip Music Festival in this exclusive feature...
Feature: Sunset Strip Music Festival
There's no place on Earth like the Sunset Strip. The area may very well be the epicenter of all modern rock n' roll. From The Doors and Led Zeppelin to Mötley Crüe and Guns N' Roses to Korn and Stone Temple Pilots, the Sunset Strip has played host to the most important and groundbreaking musical acts in American history. However, there's never been a festival in the middle of tinseltown's most rock n' roll street—until now…
From Thursday September 10th until Saturday September 12th, the Sunset Strip Music Festival will takeover West Hollywood. Clubs such as the Whisky, the Roxy, the Key Club and House of Blues will feature one live show after another, and it all culminates with a massive street festival on Saturday. For the first time, the Strip between San Vicente and Doheny will shut down for the sake of rock. Legends such as Ozzy Osbourne and Korn will play alongside some of the brightest new talent. It's going to be one for the books…
ARTISTdirect.com is getting you closer than anyone to all of this action. Korn's Jonathan Davis, Kottonmouth Kings' "Daddy X," Shiny Toy Guns' Jeremy Dawson and soon-to-be hip hop superstar Hyro Da Hero spoke to editor Rick Florino for this exclusive Sunset Strip Music Festival preview feature.
