Combing the floor of this year's MAGIC MARKET WEEK in Las Vegas, one thing instantly became clear.

Now, fashion and music have always been bedfellows. It goes all the way to the sixties fashion embraced and forwarded by The Beatles and The Who and, surely even before then, there was some kind of music "uniform" for performers. In 2014 though, the impact that music and fashion exert on each other feels stronger than ever, and MAGIC allowed a platform for these two mediums to collide in a fascinating, forward-thinking manner.

We're not just talking about the incendiary performance by A$AP mob standout, Devoni belt founder, and the one and only Trap Lord A$AP Ferg either. Though throwing back tequila shots and rocking to Ferg's flawless renditions of "Shabba" and "Work" was an unforgettable highlight of the week...Moreover, he rocked a Guns N' Roses jersey on stage, which not only proved how dope his fashion sense is but that he is an undeniable rock star. Again, we digress...

It was on the floor that the aforementioned collision became crystal clear. The moments that stand out the most include perusing the new campaigns from Mink Pink who boasts Christina Perri as the face of one initiative. Then, there's Jeffrey Campbell whose shoes feel like they belong on big concert stages around the world as much as they do on the feet of runway models. Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. line was going strong this many years deep, and it was eye-opening to see where it's headed.

On the other end of the spectrum, Dickies remains a mainstay for the Warped Tour and hip-hop sets, while Junk Food Clothing manipulates music quotes in a unique way to make t-shirts really pop. DJ and Cash Money Records budding pop star Paris Hilton licensed a collection to Antebifootwear, which offered a cute and flirty style of its own, and Snoop Dogg [or Snoop Lion]'s See You Monday collection reeked of reefer—in the best way possible!

All in all, MAGIC MARKET WEEK gives the best peek into how you can look and feel like a rock star this year, and we had a blast. Shabba Shabba Ranks [and Ferg] would agree...
