With Feist's new album Metals (Cherrytree/Interscope) on the verge of its Oct. 4 release, fans will have the opportunity to see her first official live performance Oct. 8 at Toronto's Glenn Gould Studio. Mark your calendars for both dates, Feist fans, especially those in Canada.

Feist will debut the new album and be joined by special guest appearances from some of her past collaborators, including Mocky, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Ed Droste (Grizzly Bear), Bry Webb (The Constantines), Doug Paisley, Joel Gibb and more. It'll be fun!

Portions of the concert will be broadcast during Canadian Broadcast Corporation's 75th anniversary celebrations Nov. 2.

In addition, Feist has released a little vignette for "Get It Wrong, Get It Right," the closing song off the album. If this song and this singer don't warm your soul, then you are not human. Recorded in a converted barn on a farm in Big Sur, Calif. The vignette visits some of the kids on the farm: baby goats! Check it out here.

Go here for information on how to pre-order the album on Amazon or iTunes or get the e-single "How Come You Never Go There."

Did you check out "Get It Wrong, Get It Right" by Feist? Are you going to rock Metals next month, on Oct. 4, to be exact?
