Rockers Filter will release their fifth album The Trouble With Angels this August via Rocket Science Ventures. The album will be preceded by the debut single, "The Inevitable Relapse," which hits radio on June 21. "People think 'The Inevitable Relapse' is about addiction, consumption, and obsession, but they’re wrong," singer Richard Patrick, who is the brother of actor Robert Patrick of Terminator 2 fame, said. "It's a love song."

I find it interesting that the new album is called The Trouble With Angels, since Patrick was once a member of Nine Inch Nails and former NIN boss Trent Reznor has formed a new project called How to Destroy Angels. Ironic, no?

Are you a Filter fan? What about NIN? Did you follow both bands when Patrick and Reznor worked together?
