Motionless in White will send shockwaves through modern hard rock with their brand new album Reincarnate. In fact, the record can be likened to Dr. Frankenstein bringing his monster to life with bolts of lightning and flashes of madness. Reincarnate captures the feeling of a band coming to life ready to destroy the competition and everything in their path. In that sense, it's not only the best record from the quintet, but it's also one of the year's best albums.

"Death March" sets the pace with its stomping guitars courtesy of Ricky Horror and Ryan Sitkowski and Chris Motionless's haunting, hypnotic scream. It's a bombastic intro befitting of an epic album especially when punctuated by Josh Balz's symphonic keyboards. They're "ready to fight" for sure, and they unleash a torrent of Sturm Und Drang on par with classic Marilyn Manson and Rammstein but with a decidedly fresh twist within Chris's unfiltered lyrics such as, "Fuck 'em all. I'm over it".

The single and title track elegantly marries electronics and cycling buzzsaw distortion before culminating on an arena-ready refrain. "Puppets 3 (The Grand Finale)" sees Dani Filth delivers his most dastardly verse since Cruelty and the Beast as the boys effectively transform black metal into their own weapon. "Unstoppable" rallies with a gigantic hook, while "Everybody Sells Cocaine" is theatrical in its swing. "Contemptress" remains a dark ballad augmented by a guest spot from In This Moment chanteuse Maria Brink.

"Dark Passenger" could creep out Dexter with its keyboard opening and companion riff, while "Dead As Fuck" is the most badass Satanic death tune Rob Zombie never wrote. "Carry The Torch" and "Wasp" both stretch the boundaries functioning as journeys in and of themselves.

Ultimately, it's clear that the monster is live and loose and ready to conquer rock 'n' roll. Hail Motionless In White as the new kings.
