Public Enemy's Flavor Flav has decided to close down his Iowa chicken restaurant just months after being in business due to mismanagement and food quality issues. Yeah, that'll do it. Those are both big enough issues to sink a food business.
Flav told TMZ that he had his attorney pull the license yesterday. He said, "I had a licensing agreement with Nick Cimino and that's all we had. It was his business to run from there and the business was not run right." Ouch. This partnership soured like the restaurant's potato salad. Seriously, keep reading.
Flav also said the food was a problem as well and that's probably the biggest issue of all. "Let me be straight up with you," the rapper admitted to TMZ. "I went up inside there on April 2nd and I found potato salad that expired on February 28th. And it's then when I realized I can't do business with this man and I really hope no one ate those potatoes."
Flav is set to open up "Flavor Flav's House of Flavor" in Las Vegas next month.
What do you think of Flav's decision to close his chicken joints?
