Flooding Causes Reading Festival Problems

It seems that the weather is no fan of rock'n'roll. Serious flooding caused the promoters of the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival quite headache when they had to close the camping areas and parking lots for this weekend's festival. Organizer Melvyn Benn proclaimed many camping areas unusable, which now forces the festival to offer reduced capacity camping ground.
"It's been a very difficult month," Benn told NME. "This summer has been bloody awful. But we will be able to stage the world's greatest rock festival despite what climate change and the weather have thrown at us. I always said the festival was more important than the weather!"
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, and Nine Inch Nails are just some of the headline acts performing at the annual event.
