Outgoing Florida Governor Charlie Crist is rock 'n' roll to the core. The gov is planning to pursue a posthumous pardon for Doors singer Jim Morrison, who was convicted of exposing himself at a 1969 concert in Miami by his band The Doors. Morrison died while the case was in appeals and never served the six-month jail sentence that was handed down. The charge is a part of rock enduring 'n' roll legend and lore!
Crist told the St. Petersburg Times he began considering the pardon when a reporter inquired about the incident. The more he looked into the charge, the more it become unclear Morrison actually flashed his junk.
Should Crist pardon Morrison? Or is it cooler to have the indecent exposure charge on his record forever?
