The Foo Fighters have finished work on their seventh studio album, if you choose to believe the posts from the group's Twitter account, which is @foofighters if you want to follow them. In one photo from yesterday, the group is seen posing in a studio about to pour a bottle of champagne. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are officially done," the Tweet celebrates. Yahoo! The Foos will be back this Spring.

Lead singer/guitarist Dave Grohl enlisted his former Nirvana bandmate, bassist Krist Novoselic, to appear on the track "I Should Have Known," while Hüsker Dü/Sugar frontman Bob Mould guests on "Dear Rosemary." The project was recorded at Grohl's home studio in Los Angeles, produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder.

Are you excited about the seventh Foos record? Can you believe it's been seven albums already?
