Former Warrant Singer Jani Lane to Serve 120 Days in Jail

According to the fine folks at TMZ, former Warrant lead singer Jani Lane was ordered to serve 120 days in jail after pleading no contest to a DUI charge. The errant singer was picked up in May for his second DUI in one year after slamming into a parked car. Officers on the scene reported the rocker exceeded twice the legal limit in a Breathalyzer test and failed field sobriety tests. Translation? He was drunk as a skunk.
While an inanimate object once again (!!!) took the brunt of the impact of Lane's drunken stupidity, the fact that this is his second offense is unacceptable. Some people never learn! In 2009, Lane was also arrested and charged with a DUI after hitting a parked car. He ended up pleading no contest to a misdemeanor DUI and was given three years probation. Lane really has something against parked cars, it appears.
In addition to serving 120 days in jail, Lane will lose his license for three years and will be required to complete a 30-month alcohol education program. Whatever keeps him off the streets is best, since he is a repeat offender with a propensity for committing the same bad behavior over and over again.
What is your favorite Warrant song? I'm going to go with "Sometimes She Cries."
