"Don't hide in the dark," pleads Foxes on her elegantly enthralling new single, "Echo".

Her voice is so pristine and powerful that it could illuminate even the darkest night. Beginning with a soft keyboard hum, the song commences like a psychedelic lullaby before building into a towering hook carried by the singer's impeccable delivery.

She comes to life with an otherworldly force all her own. Carving out her own path, she nods to the mysticism of Florence + the Machine and Feist's knack for an infectious refrain. Nevertheless, Foxes carries a light unlike anyone else, and that's what makes "Echo" resound so potently.

Plus, in the video, she's rolling with a strangely endearing Crash Test Dummy, further opening the gateway into this wildly, wonderful world she's built. "Echo" is one of the most unique and unforgettable songs of 2012. It's only the beginning though.
