Interpol will be playing a free show in Southern California, next Tuesday, September 7, which is the same day they release their self-titled album, which is their fourth overall. The New York indie band will play a special show at the Space 15 Twenty Parking lot in Los Angeles. The show is being dubbed the "out-store" performance, which is a flipped reference to "in store" performances and visits that bands usually do at retailers on release day.
In order to see the show, fans can either pre-order the band's new disc via the Matador's website or pick it up at select LA area independent retailers on Tuesday. Receipts for online purchases tagged with the phrase "LA OUTSTORE" will guarantee entrance to the show. Some retailers will have wristbands, as well.
The "out-store" show is scheduled to take place at 1520 N. Cahuenga Boulevard at 7 PM PT.
Do you plan to check out this free Interpol "out-store" performance?
