Fugazi Digitally Archiving Every Single Live Show of Their Career - It's 15 years worth of material

Washington, DC punk icons Fugazi are digitally archiving every single live show from their 15-year career, which will be made available online for fans. Wow, that's a lot of material and a lot of DIY post-hardcore.

Frontman Ian MacKaye, late of Minor Threat, something all you HxCx kids should know, says the group is working on converting thousands of live recordings from DAT and cassette tapes to digital files. He told the Approaching Oblivion blog that the band is hoping the live archive "will be up in the near future. The idea at the moment is to start it with 100 shows. Then put 20 more on every month or something. We're still building the site, it's an interesting an complicated process."

What band would you like to see (or hear) archive their entire live history?
