Watch Gaz Coombes video for "Hot Fruit" below.

It's the first official video from Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes.

"Hot Fruit" is the first single from Gaz's upcoming debut solo album Gaz Coombes Presents…Here Come the Bombs due out digitally in the US on May 21 via Hot Fruit Recordings. "Hot Fruit" serves as a suitably left field calling card for the album with it's off-kilter time signature providing a powerful statement of intent sure to get fans excited for the upcoming release. It's different; we like it.

Here Come the Bombs marks the reunion of Gaz and producer Sam Williams, whom Coombes first worked with on the Supergrass album I Should Coco. The record represents a continuation of Gaz's day-to-day life in music. Recorded between Coombes' home studio and Williams' Temple Studio, both in Oxford, it explores the unexpected whilst maintaining the famous love of melody that marked some of Supergrass' finest moments.
