"Faith" singer George Michael is no "Father Figure." Thanks, I'll be here all week. The weed-smoking singer has been given an eight-week sentence for crashing his car while under the influence of cannabis, the BBC News reports. The 47-year-old singer was arrested in July in Hampstead, north London after driving his Range Rover into a shop and then he was slapped with a six-month interim driving ban after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and possessing cannabis.

The authorities told Michael that his offenses were "a serious matter" and that he could face imprisonment. In turn, Michael discovered that he will serve four weeks in prison, with the rest of his sentence spent under the supervision of the probation service.

George Michael...in jail? Not gonna go there. Michael has been very vocal about his use of cannabis, as well, so I doubt he will stop using the medicine. However, let us hope he stops using it while operating machinery.

What is your favorite George Michael song?
