Biting the hand that feeds you, huh? That's the sound of it, from the comments Glee star Matthew Morrison recently made about the show. He is contractually tethered to the show for seven years and he is not psyched, since it prevents him from doing other stuff. The show is blazing hot and a hit, which likely opens other doors of opportunity for him. But the irony is that it prevents him from taking other offers.

Morrison, who was a Broadway star prior to nabbing the role on Glee, plays teacher Will Schuester.

Morrison told The Mirror that the show "is not ending any time soon. Once they have you, they trap you. I'm tied in to seven years - I signed up to seven years and I cannot get out of it. I have a really good lawyer but there's nothing we can do. I've had offers recently for a few really cool movies but we had to turn them down. It's so frustrating."

He also said that none of the cast expected or bargained for the breakthrough success of the show. He said, "None of us realized when we signed up it'd turn into this - we thought it was just a show about kids singing and dancing... I literally cannot get out of it. It's a great show, it provided me with my big break, but what can I do?"

    Enjoy it while it lasts?

What do you think of Matthew Morrison's comments? Ungrateful? Understandable? About to piss off Ryan Murphy?
