Details of the new Gorillaz album have been pretty hard to come by. Aside from the Inauguration Day release of "Hallelujah Money" and a string of teasing social campaigns when the new album was confirmed as 'incoming', there was a tweet from a fan who had a conversation with Damon Albarn confirming that the album was done, and the band did announce a date for their own festival at a theme park in the UK — but no clues have been given about the size and shape of the album. It's just the kind of enigmatic campaign we've come to expect from Damon Albarn's pop-art project.

Now, though, a number of songs have been registered to UK-based music licensing company Phonographic Performance Ltd, revealing the apparent titles and guest collaborators for 26 tracks. Listed in the licensing information are a host of great names — and typically surprising collaborations. Among those names, added to Benjamin Clementine — who featured on the previously mentioned "Hallelujah Money", and De La Soul and Kelela who have previously confirmed their involvement in the album — are Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Carly Simon, Pusha T, Danny Brown, Vince Staples, Savages' Jehnny Beth, and D.R.A.M.

Over the weekend, Gorillaz continued their teasing social campaign, and launched a Snapchat account on which they've posted a number of clips featuring footage from inside the studio and snippets of music. Each snap shares a countdown clock, leading some fans to speculate that the release of a new single, or maybe even the album, could arrive as soon as tomorrow.

It's fair to say that we're pretty stoked by the impending new tunes, and can't wait to see the fresh visuals that accompany Gorillaz trade craft.
