While many music fans associate the Grateful Dead with hippie culture and the green stuff, the band has teamed up with Dogfish Head, a craft brewery based in Delaware, to create America Beauty, a beverage named after the band's 1970 album.

It's a pale ale that the Dead's surviving members had input into, as well.

The brew's defining ingredient is granola, and it will be available at Dogfish Head's distributors this fall.

The late, great Jerry Garcia would be proud.

What other bands should get their own beer?
