Following Dead and Company's headlining gig at Bonnaroo, the supergroup will set off on a 17-date tour of the United States. Consisting of Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann along with John Mayer, the band will be playing gigs at some of America's biggest venues, including Citi Field in New York City, PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Boston's Fenway Park.
Starting with a gig last October at Albany's Times Union Center, the band played a variety of shows, including a two night stand at New York's Madison Square Garden, and concluded its first tour on New Year's Eve at Los Angeles' The Forum. They won't make it all the way out west this time, but will be making stops at new cities such as Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Clarkston, Michigan.
Dead and Company starts off the concert series with a headlining show at Bonnaroo, where they will play two sets that also feature LCD Soundsystem and Pearl Jam as leading acts. Bonnaroo is set to take place June 9th through 12th in Manchester, Tennessee.
The band will also be appearing February 18th on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. There is also a mini documentary about last year's performance at Madison Square Garden available below.
