Classic rocker Gregg Allman has dropped his lawsuit against the producers of the planned biopic about his life and band. He did so after both sides came to an agreement out of court.

Allman sought to halt production of Midnight Rider, a film based on his autobiography My Cross to Bear, when production assistant Sarah Jones was hit by a train and killed in February. How tragic!

The rocker claimed that the production company's rights to his memoir had expired because the filmmakers had failed to meet production deadlines.

Now, a settlement with Unclaimed Freight Productions has been reached.

The terms of the agreement are private and have not been shared and we are not sure if the film will continue as planned.

    Would you watch this film?
