    Rock and blues vocalist Gregg Allman will appear on the PBS NEWSHOUR (check local listings) today, Aug. 14, at around 7PM, for a conversation with Senior Correspondent Jeffrey Brown.

    Allman will discuss his 40-plus-year musical career as a singer, musician and songwriter for The Allman Brothers Band and a solo artist, as recounted in his new memoir My Cross to Bear.
