HAIM has announced their new sophomore album Something To Tell You. It will be released July 7th via Columbia Records. Along with the announcement, the band unveil a live studio version of new song "Right Now," the first new music from HAIM's forthcoming album. The song was released as video, and was directed and shot by Paul Thomas Anderson. Check it out below.
Last night HAIM gave family, friends and fans a sneak peek of the video at a special debut party at Canters on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles, California. The famed location is the site of the sisters' first show almost 18 years ago. The band also announced they will be playing Saturday Night Live on May 13th, with Melissa McCarthy hosting.
HAIM reunited with Ariel Rechtshaid to produce the forthcoming album. The sisters also worked with Rostam Batamanglij (Vampire Weekend).
HAIM will return to perform at the renowned Glastonbury festival this June. HAIM will also play festivals such as Splendour in the Grass in Australia, Reading & Leeds Festival in the UK, and Lost Lake Festival in Arizona. More live dates will be added in the near future.
The band has been teasing new music for awhile now, most recently with billboards in Los Angeles, Sydney, and Berlin. Now finally all that anticipation has an end date, and we can not wait to hear the new result, but if P.T. Anderson is a fan, you can guess many others will be following suit.
