    Haley Joel Osment Hits Broadway

Haley Joel Osment, the cute kid who shot to fame and received an Oscar nomination at the age of 11 for his work in The Sixth Sense, is all grown up and heading to Broadway. Osment, who turned 20-years-old this year and whose last major starring role in a motion picture was in 2003's Secondhand Lions, will appear in American Buffalo, a play about robbery set in a Chicago junk shop. This will be Osment's Broadway debut.

The stage play was written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet and is a revival that opens on November 17 at the Belasco Theater. It also features John Leguizamo and Cedric the Entertainer in the cast. Preview performances begin on Halloween.

Another Mamet revival, Speed the Plow, will open at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on October 23, with previews starting October 3. Jeremy Piven of Entourage fame will topline that production.
