Highasakite Debut "Golden Ticket," Sophomore Album To Come In May

Norwegian sensations Highasakite have released a second track, "Golden Ticket," off their forthcoming sophomore album, Camp Echo. The album will be released May 20th via Propeller Records. The first track off the record, "Someone Who'll Get It," came out earlier this year.
"Golden Ticket" is full of those infectious dance floor sounds that are almost too poppy and perfect. However, the lyrics portray singer Ingrid Helene Håvik as someone who is disillusioned with the entire scene as well as with the boy in her life. "Boy if you're still watching there's no more happy days / Boy if you're still watching there's no more celebration." It's the juxtaposition of those dissatisfied lyrics and the sugary electro-pop sounds that make "Golden Ticket" intriguing. In the end, the song is about getting out of a toxic relationship and moving on to better things because you deserve them, all you have to do is grab that "Golden Ticket."
Camp Echo follows Highasakite's debut LP, Silent Treatment, which now claims the record for longest consecutive run in Norwegian chart history, having spent 100 weeks in the Top 40. Check out the tracklist for the follow up below:
