The 17,000-square foot home in Holmby Hills, California where Michael Jackson died in 2009 has been sold for the second time since the King of Pop's death.
The sprawling pad, which features a theater, a gym, a spa, a wine cellar and a separate guest house, was sold by Hubert Guez, the CEO of Ed Hardy Clothing. It was sold for $18.1 million, less than half of its $38.5 million value. While it might seem like it would have sold for more, due to the cultural impact and historical significance of the home, which are priceless, that's not the case. The fact that Jackson, who was renting the home, died there did not increase the value.
A financier purchased the crib.
