Hypodive to Play New York City's The Gramercy on Wednesday, Aug. 17

Hypodive will play New York City's Gramercy Theater on Friday night.
Picking up where Paramour left off, Hypodive are a hard hitting and bracing combo of the sounds of The Killers, Katy Perry, and the Foo Fighters. Fronted by the blonde mohawked, model-worthy and talented JKLN, Hypodive released a self titled album with hits 'Outta Control" and "What's Up" in 2010 and are in the process of writing and recording an EP that incorporates live performances and more driving dance rock songs.
They've carved out a place for themselves in the Big Apple, having played venues like Le Poisson Rouge, The Knitting Factory Brooklyn, Arlene's Grocery, Bowery Electric, and Crash Mansion. Hypodive have quickly become known in the NYC music scene for their dance rock with a uniquely elevating vibe. Their high energy songs along with punchy lyrics have not only taken NYC by storm, but also have made their national and international tours a roaring success! In a few words: Hypodrive bring it. Girl power, for sure. We likey.
The band is fronted by singer JKLN, backed by the heavy sounds of JV, her co-writer and Hypodive's guitarist, Chad Elrod on drums, and bassist Chris Blanton. The quartet has shows in New York and Brooklyn coming soon, so be sure to check them out!
The Gramercy show takes place Wednesday, Aug. 17.
