Alice in Wonderland Tops Box Office Again

Looks like the Twilight fan girls only fantasize about one of Robert Pattinson's alter egos, as they largely stayed away from the actor’s schmaltzy romantic drama Remember Me, as Alice in Wonderland held onto top box office slot this week, besting the Matt Damon actioner Green Zone in the process. The colorful classic continues to put asses in the seats and to make buckets of money.
Alice, which features a doe-eyed Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter with distracting orange eyebrows, reigned supreme once again, with a box office take of $208 million after two weekends in theaters. Green Zone, which reunited Damon with director Paul Greengrass of Damon’s box office smash Jason Bourne franchise, came in second and reportedly fell below studio expectations with its modest opening. Teen hormone comedy She's Outta My League notched third place at the box office, while Remember Me landed in fourth place amid universally abysmal reviews. Time to bring back Eddie Cullen…stat. Good news is the third installment of Twilight is due in theaters in June.
