James Cameron Videos
The Na'vi are back. Avatar will be returning to the big screen on August 27. This version, which will land in theaters for two weeks, will include eight minutes of never-before-viewed footage of the James Cameron-directed behemoth, which is the highest-grossing film of all time. There are plans to re-release Titanic, another record-setting blockbuster also directed by Cameron that once held the title of being the highest-grossing film of all time, in 3-D by the year 2012. The Titanic 3-D project would be part of Paramount's 100-year anniversary celebration, but studio sources declined to comment on the project and tests are being conducted in order to convert the 13-year-old movie. Since technology has changed so much since the film's original release, the conversion process might take longer than one would expect.
Would you go see Titanic converted to 3-D? Are you going to check out the re-release of Avatar for those precious extra eight minutes?
