Esquire magazine has taken aim at actress Scarlett Johansson, it seems. The actress was set to appear on the May cover of the mag's "Women We Love" issue, but Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks appeared in Johansson's stead. Editor-in-chief David Granger said, "Scarlett completely screwed us" to an audience at a magazine conference in Toronto, according to reports published by the New York Daily News. Johansson was apparently the magazine's chosen cover girl and she even committed to take part in a photo shoot, which apparently did not happen. Insiders are speculating that Johansson's appearance on Broadway in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge got in the way of her taking part in the magazine cover shoot. Granger has made no further comment about his comments.
Hendricks was reportedly chosen from a poll that included Megan Fox and Zoe Saldana.
Do you think Johansson owes the magazine an apology for dissing them? Or did she really diss them? Are you waiting to hear her side of the story?
