Ian Watkins' Bail Application Rejected

Another spot of bad news for Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins. The frontman saw his bail application rejected late last week. The Welsh musician remains in jail on charges of possessing child porn and extreme animal porn, and more distressingly, conspiring to rape a child, 1.
The full list of charges are as follows: Two counts of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a female under 13 and three counts of possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children. He is also accused of possessing "extreme" animal pornography.
Watkins remains remanded into custody in Parc Prison in Wales.
Watkins submitted an application for bail, and appeared via video link at a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday, January 10, but Judge Eleri Rees rejected the request.
So that's the latest in this disturbing case that has Lostprophets fans fiercely divided. Some fans have already convicted the singer in the court of public opinion, while others believe that perhaps it is a set up. We've received information on both sides of the story, and we share it when we process and digest it. Our stance is, and remains, that he is innocent until proven guilty. If he is convicted of the reprehensible charges against him, then we believe he deserves only the harshest of punishment. We also are shocked by what he has been accused of.
Lostprophets fans, tell us how you feel about this case. We want to hear from you.
