Idlewild's Tour Cancelled Due to Guitarist Injury

Idlewild's US tour dates have been cancelled due to an injury to guitarist Rod Jones. The guitarist recently broke his collarbone in an unfortunate accident and is unable to perform. He is resting up and healing.
"Myself and the rest of the band are absolutely gutted that we won't be able to do these shows at this time," Jones said in a statement. "I know this is a disappointment to some of you who have been patiently waiting for five years to see us there and it is a feeling we share with you as a band. Again I'd like to extend my sincere and heartfelt apologies and hope to see you some time in the near future."
We wish Jones a full and speedy recovery. We waited five years. We can wait a few more months or however long it takes the band to get to the US again!
The Scottish folk-punk outfit was due to make their long-awaited return to American soil to perform shows on the East and West Coasts in support of their recently released sixth studio LP, Post Electric Blues. But those plans are obviously in the shitter now.
