Iggy Pop and Queens of the Stone Age-founder Josh Homme have released the third single, "Sunday," from Pop's upcoming album Post Pop Depression. The song follows the album's first two singles, "Gardenia" and "Break Into Your Heart," both of which were released in January.
It was announced in January that Iggy Pop was working with Homme on his seventeenth studio album, which is due out March 18th via Loma Vista Recordings. Pop also revealed to Beats 1 radio host Matt Wilkinson that this may be his final album. The twosome are about to begin touring together, and will be playing gigs across North America and Europe.
The tour begins March 28th at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. From there, the duo will also play gigs in San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, and a slew of others cities before finishing up the North American leg at Los Angeles' The Greek Theatre on April 28th. The series of European concerts begins May 4th in Stockholm, Sweden and ends March 15th in Paris, France. Shows are set for England, Germany, the Netherlands, and more. Following those dates, Iggy Pop will play three solo European festival gigs in Austria, Denmark, and Switzerland.
The singer will also be playing Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theatre on March 15th.
