Incubus is gearing up to have a big 2017. It has already been announced that the California alternative rockers will be releasing their first album in six years, and now we know that they will be returning to the stage. That's right, Incubus will head out for a short tour this summer and joining them will be none other than Arizona rockers Jimmy Eat World. It's set to be an American southwestern show for the ages, and they are taking it all over the nation.
It's the kind of lineup that anyone who was a teenager in the early 2000s would dream of, with Brandon Boyd and co. sharing the stage with the Bleed American band. Jimmy Eat World announced their own 2017 tour with Beach Slang as well.
The Incubus/Jimmy Eat World concert series will begin on September 14th in Holmdel, New Jersey and then head out across North America. The last show is set to take place August 16th in Mountain View, California.
The first single off Incubus' forthcoming record is due out February 16th and is entitled "Nimble B******". There is also a collaboration with Skrillex expected on the record. It's the band's first new album since 2011's If Not Now, When?
With statement staple songs like "Megalomaniac" is their wheelhouse, the album as well as the live show promise to be special for fans in the current chaotic political landscape.
