Electronic three-piece Innerpartysystem have issued their brand new video for the single "American Trash" and of course, you can watch it here at ARTISTdirect.com. With grinding dance beats, sharp lyrics and eye-popping colors, pointed captions and imagery cleverly poke at questions of American identity, individuality and truth. I love the sexy, subversive and suggestive song, the idea of American trash and the sexy, subversive and suggestive video, so that is why I am happy to share it with you.

Innerpartysystem's irresistibly entertaining and thought-provoking video offers a visceral, super-charged statement about what truly matters in the end; this is one video that you'll be pondering long after it's over. So get watching, folks, and allow this video to burn itself into your impressionable brain.

Innerpartysystem - Patrick Nissley (vocals), Jared Piccone (drums), and Kris Barman (synth, guitar) – are set to release their new 6-song EP, Never Be Content, digitally across all platforms on February 22nd, 2011, and physically on March 29th, 2011, on Red Bull Records. The new EP sees the band mastering an appealing pop sensibility and finely-tuned songcraft while exploring an expanded and compelling electronic soundscape. Never Be Content, which includes a new edit of current single "American Trash," runs the gamut from melodic, bubbling beats, to evocative and dance-floor friendly songs to crunchy, moody synths. With a producer's mindset and a songwriter's pen, Innerpartysystem dove into discovering, creating and manipulating a new universe of musical influences, sonic textures and programming techniques. The result is an EP rich with innovation and originality.
