Insane Clown Posse is planning a 'million clown march' on Washington. "After a 2011 report by the FBI's National Gang Intelligence Center classified the Juggalos, ICP's fans, as a "loosely organized hybrid gang," the duo filed a lawsuit against the FBI. A federal judge dismissed the lawsuit in 2014, but an appeals court revived it last year. And now, the duo is planning a massive march on Washington to protest against the FBI," Stereogum reports.
Detroit News reports that the announcement was made by Joe "Violent J" Bruce at this past weekend's Meeting of the Juggalos in Thornville, Ohio. ICP and their fans are planning to march on September 17th, "In 2017, the weekend of Sept. 17, we need you. We're gonna do a (expletive) march on Washington. They call the Juggalo World a movement, right? Well, let's move," Violent J told the audience.
The march's route has also been revealed reports Detroit News, "It will begin at the Lincoln Memorial, proceed down Constitution Ave. and will end at the Washington Monument, where artists and fans will speak about what it means to be a Juggalo." After the march the group will throw a picnic and there will be a ICP concert at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, which is about 40 miles away.
Insane Clown Posse last released their 14th studio album, The Marvelous Missing Link: Found, in 2015. The record reached number nine on both the Billboard U.S. Independent album and the Top Rap Albums.
