CartInterview: Corey Taylor of Stone Sour gets "Supernatural" on the "Fringe"

Stone Sour mainman Corey Taylor has got quite the grip on pop culture. Boasting a serious DVD collection, Taylor has his finger on the pulse of what's constantly bubbling up in theaters and on TV. Being on the road constantly though, he's gravitated towards a few specific TV shows.
In celebration of Audio Secrecy's release today, Stone Sour's Corey Taylor spoke to ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino about his current favorite TV shows and even what he's listening to. Corey even gave us the release dates of a few particular sets he's stoked on! The man knows what's up…

What's your DVD collection up to now? Are there any new additions that stand out?
God, that's a good question [Laughs]. The TV series that I'm addicted to right now is Supernatural! I've been really getting into that. A buddy of mine turned me on to it late. I hadn't even watched it at all prior so I picked up Season 1, and I immediately went out and bought the rest of the series. Now I can't wait because Season 5 comes out on September 7th the same day as our album! So I'm going to Best Buy right away to pick that up. It's such a great TV show, man. It's almost like The X-Files. If you're into stuff like that, you'll love it! The writing is fantastic. Check it out.
It looks like Millenium a little bit.
Yeah, but there's a humor to it that's really good. It's all about the brothers—Sam and Dean Winchester. The rapport that they have together is really good. Definitely start with season 1 and get all caught up. It's so worth it. It's like my favorite show right now.
Are there any other shows your into?
After Lost was over, I was a bit stuck! I was like, "What do I have?" Fringe is really good too. It's damn good, actually! Season 2 of Fringe is out September 14, and I'm definitely going to pick that up. The first season is great. In that show, Walter is fantastic! He's funnier than hell. You've definitely got to check out.
What are you listening to at the moment?
I'm actually listening to Audio Secrecy. We just got the finished versions of our album, so I immediately took it and put it on my iTunes. I've been listening to it nonstop.
