Interview: Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 of Murderdolls — "Look out America…"

Rock 'n' roll could use a heavy dose of real attitude.
Now, we're not referencing that store-bought anger and aggression that so many of today's "hardcore" bands espouse. Most of those effeminate man-boys are just riled up they were dumped via Facebook or their girlfriends won't share jeans anymore. Guns N' Roses and Motley Crue were angry, but they also knew how to get the girls grooving and shaking. Murderdolls, the incendiary one-two punch of Slipknot's Jordison and vocalist Wednesday 13, possess that very same power. Their forthcoming sophomore offering, Women and Children Last is loaded to the gills with massive anthemic hooks, sickly danceable rhythms and raw, face-ripping riffs. It's an unequivocally genuinely pissed off record, but it's going to get the chicks back into the arenas because it's so motherfucking catchy. Classic like Shout at the Devil and Appetite for Destruction, but bitingly brutal like Portrait of an American Family, this is fury at its most fun.
"The topics are going to surprise a lot of people," says Jordison with a smile sitting in the studio.
Wednesday adds, "I think this might be the most 'motherfuckers' on an album!"
Those "motherfuckers" are coming for your daughter and your hearing…Joey Jordison and Wednesday 13 sat down with ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino for an exclusive video interview in the studio about getting angry for Women and Children Last and why the record shares a kinship with Falling Down. Michael Douglas never rocked like this though!
