INXS guitarist Tim Farriss nearly lost a finger in a boating accident.
The guitarist's left hand was injured, with his fourth finger severed by an electric anchor winch on a boat in Sydney on January 24, according to WENN.
Farriss had two operations in attempt to reattach his finger and while the surgery was successful, months of physical therapy loom, along with the possibility of not playing guitar ever again! Oh no!
INXS manager Chris Murphy told Sydney Daily Telegraph that "Tim is now home from the hospital with his family and undergoing physiotherapy as part of the recovery process. He is getting the best possible care and we hope with time he will regain movement in his finger. This was a terrible accident, we are all here to support him."
We wish Tim Farriss the best and hope he makes a full recovery.
