Is Lady Gaga Going Too Far With Her Fashion Choices?

Lady Gaga has always turned heads for her fashion choices and what she wears. Now that she's the most famous pop star on the planet, she has started pushing the envelope...off the cliff with her recent ensembles and what she isn't wearing, actually. After wearing meat at the VMAs, and on the cover of a Japanese magazine, she turned up at LAX airport on Tuesday wearing a pair of handcuffs and not much else.
Gaga was photographed toppling at a London airport over the summer, thanks to sky-high platform boots, which have to be a bitch to get on and off when going through security check points, since you have to remove your shoes to go through the metal detector. She was photographed with a Yankees jersey and little else at a Bronx Bombers game earlier this summer, as well. Now, she shows up at LAX with long locks, handcuffs and undergarments? Reps for Transportation Security Administration told People that Gaga was not breaching any security laws with the cuffs, as they did not pose an immediate threat to passengers and travelers.
My question is this: Is Gaga going too far, simply because she can? She used to make intriguing clothing choices that were eccentric and odd, but still fashion-forward. The attire certainly made a statement. But I wonder if she is daring to go even further simply because she can? She's already established her ability to turn fashion on its ear and now she is pushing the boundaries even further, causing one to wonder if meat is truly fashion. It's something to ponder.
I still thing Lady Gaga is as fabulous as it gets, though.
Is Lady Gaga going too far with her fashion choices? Or would you like to see her go even further? What's next – live animals as scarves?
