Jackie Chan is the "Spy Next Door"

Martial artist Jackie Chan has agreed to star in the comedy The Spy Next Door for Relativity Media. The action-adventure comedy genre has served Chan well over the course of his career, and this film sees him returning to form. The film will be directed by Brian Levant, a veteran of family fare like Are We There Yet? and Jingle All the Way. The screenplay is currently being written and will feature Chan as a man who ends up babysitting his neighbor's kids and winds up battling with secret agents after one of Chan's charges downloads a code that he shouldn't have.

Chan's next project hitting screens will be The Shinjuku Incident, an action-drama.
