Nearly five years after Run-D.M.C. member Jason Mizell, a.k.a. Jam Master Jay, was shot dead in his recording studio, federal prosecutors may have identified Ronal "Tenad" Washington as an armed accomplice of Jay's murderer. Even more incredible, prosecutors also believe that Washington was somehow involved in the 1995 murder of Randy Walker, an associate of late rapper Tupac Shakur.
Washington, who is already serving time for armed robbery, denies any connection to the murders, despite court papers indicating that he "pointed his gun at those present in the studio, ordered them to get on the ground and provided cover for his associate to shoot and kill Jason Mizell."
Prosecutors further allege that Washington was one of three men who fired gunshots at Walker, thereby causing a fatal minivan crash.
