Singer James Blunt, he of "You're Beautiful" fame, has sort of announced he's retiring from the music business at 38. Must be nice to sail off into the sunset before you are 40. Eh, not so fast.

Blunt basically said he has no plans to write music anytime soon and that translated to retiring to several media sources. And that's exactly what sparked a storm of retirement rumors.

Throughout his career, Blunt has sold 18 million albums and earned five Grammy nominations.

He told The Daily Mail that he has no plans to write any more songs and wants to chill.

He said, "I haven't got any plans to do more songwriting. I have been chilling out since I finished my world tour and I've spent a lot of time in Ibiza, where I have a villa."

So maybe he is taking a minute off. That doesn't sound like "I'm quitting, peace out" to us.
