Tomorrow, Jamie xx will release a new music video for "Gosh," the third single off last year's stunning In Colour. The video is directed by Romain Gavras who is known for his work on M.I.A.'s "Born Free" and "Bad Girls. Jamie's label Young Turks shared a teaser of the video today, which features a few youths dressed in white and driving through an urban landscape.
A video for "Gosh" was released last year when the song was initially released, and was directed by Erik Wernquist and made with photos from NASA, JPL, University of Arizona, and Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio.
Back in November, The xx - Jamie's project with Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim - stated that a new album could be expected this year. In December, the band posted a photo of them in the studio to their Facebook.
Jamie xx is currently on tour and will play a number of shows throughout Europe this summer. His next appearance is scheduled to take place at the Garorock Festival in Marmande, France on July 1st. He will be playing sets at a number of other festivals, including the U.K.'s T in the Park, Ireland's Longitude Festival, and Sweden's Way Out West Festival. His last scheduled European performance is set for August 14th at Helsinki, Finland's Flow Festival. He will then head to the U.S. for one show at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Made in America Festival.
