Jay Reatard Returns to the Road

Now that Jay Reatard's busy re-releasing his massive back catalogue through Shattered Records, the Memphis native is taking his show on the road for a brief tour that starts in San Diego on June 11 and wraps up in Memphis on July 10. The Oh Sees and TV Smith will rotate in and out of the supporting slot.

In related news, Reatard's Shattered label will also be releasing a "Single Series" soon, featuring limited 7-inches from Chris Knox, Box Elders, Nobunny and more. A special $75 collection includes all six singles and an expanded version of Reatard's recent compilation, Greatest Messes. As for when he'll finish an actual Matador Records album, we're hearing late summer at this point.
