    More money, more problems!

Jay-Z is amidst a legal battle with his former tour chef, claiming he failed to create tasty treats for the Hova's sports bar after he was hired to do so.

According to WENN, lawyers representing the Manhattan branch of Jay-Z's 40/40 bar and restaurant chain have filed suit against Mike Shand, who previously prepared food for both the hip-hop star and his wife Beyoncé on tour. Damn. From a killer job to one that's causing him to get sued. That cannot be fun. He had a rad job cooking for them on tour and was giving a new gig that didn't work out.

Shand is accused of failing to perform on significant aspects of a deal to spice up the menu for the luxury sports bar's reopening earlier this year. The suit claims the club lost profits.

Shand's lawyer said, "Mike's a great chef, and it is unclear why 40/40 would contemplate a lawsuit against him. Nevertheless, we will respond accordingly when he gets served with the complaint."

Team Jay-Z or Team Mike Shand?
