Jay-Z Printed "Decoded" Pages in Oddest of Places
Tue, 16 Nov 2010 12:12:34
Jay-Z's first book Decoded is out today, and the rapper placed pages of the book in odd places, with pages of the book hidden in places that are meaningful to the rap mogul, such as the bottom of the pool of the Delano hotel in Miami and underneath plates at the Spotted Pig in NYC. Clues to their locations were revealed on Jay-Z.com, as well as Jay's Facebook and Twitter pages. Even two pages of the book were located in the windows of Gucci's Fifth Avenue flagship store, printed in the lining of a leather bomber jacket. The jacket is actually being gifted to Sean Carter, which is Jay's real name.
How clever! That's what I call interactive marketing.
Are you planning to pick up a copy of Decoded?
