Jenni Rivera Plane Crash Cause Revealed

Technical problems and possible pilot error are to blame for the plane crash that claimed the life of Mexican singer Jenni Rivera a year ago.
Rivera, 43, perished along with four members of her team and two pilots on December 9 of last year. They were traveling in a Lear jet that crashed in Mexico.
Officials at Mexico's General Civil Aviation Administration published a report about the wreck near its anniversary, according to our pals at WENN.
Multiple causes factored into to the crash, including the plane's age (over 40) and pilot issues (they were young and old). The plane was so badly wrecked that it was hard to come up with a completely conclusive answer about the cause of the crash.
One of the pilots was 78 and the other was 21, and there may have been an issue there.
The plane entered a sheer vertical drop after a sudden and abrupt loss of control. That may have been mechanical.
Weather was not cited as a factor in the crash.
